업무 흐름대로 기능 배치, 쉽고 간편한 차트 입력 통해 진료 효율 극대화
코로나19 재택치료 위한 동네병의원 비대면 진료에 최적화된 인프라 제공
[의학신문·일간보사=오인규 기자] 메디블록(대표 고우균·이은솔)은 차세대 클라우드 EMR인 ‘닥터팔레트’를 성공적으로 출시하고 운영하고 있으며, 이들 솔루션의 연결을 통해 의료정보 플랫폼으로써의 성장 가능성을 입증했다. 이번 KIMES 2022에서도 부스와 세미나를 통해 자사 기술력을 집중 조명할 계획이다.
지난해 9월 메디블록이 공개한 ‘닥터팔레트(Dr.palette)’는 의료인이 직접 업무흐름에 맞춰 구성한 클라우드 EMR이다. 닥터팔레트는 의사를 뜻하는 ‘Dr.(의사)’와 ‘palette(물감 팔레트)’를 합친 합성어이다. 쉽게 말해 의사가 마음대로 골라서 사용할 수 있는 컬러팔레트를 뜻한다.
이는 ‘내 병원에 꼭 맞는’ 서비스를 내포하는 네이밍이기도 하면서, ‘환자의 건강을 사려 깊게 터치해준다’라는 의미를 가진 이름이다. 제품의 특성을 한 번에 표현할 수 있는 닥터팔레트는 의료인의 진료현장을 보다 편리하고 트랜디하게 만들어주겠다는 의미를 담고 있다.
닥터팔레트는 차별화된 기술을 중심으로 설치 없이 언제 어디서든 공단과 완벽하게 연동된 진정한 클라우드 EMR을 제공한다. 의사가 직접 만들어 업무의 흐름대로 기능을 배치해 빠르고 간편하게 사용할 수 있으며, 쉽고 간편한 차트 입력을 통해 진료 효율을 극대화할 수 있는 것이 가장 큰 특징이다.
또한 클라우드로 구성돼 서버 구축 및 다운로드, 고시의 변경 및 업데이트를 위한 별도의 작업이 필요 없이 사용할 수 있다. 더불어 모바일 앱을 함께 활용해 촬영 및 차트 조회가 자유롭다. 의료인이 사용하고 싶은 공간에서 MAC, 윈도우, 리눅스까지 모두 호환해서 사용 가능하다.
닥터팔레트는 실제로 기기나 환경에 제약받지 않고 사용할 수 있는 형태로 구현됐다. 웹 베이스의 형태이기 때문에 언제 어디서든 인터넷 창을 켜고 사용할 수 있다. 환자의 정보를 보기 위해 진료실로 뛰어갈 필요도 동료에게 전화해서 확인을 부탁할 필요도 없다. 모바일 EMR도 제공하기 때문에 사진을 찍어 힘들게 업로드 하는 과정이 없어 매우 편리하다.
회사 관계자는 “병원이라고 의료정보를 기록하는 차트라고 진부할 필요는 없다고 생각했다”며 “의료인들이 가장 많은 시간을 함께 하는 차팅 시간을 즐겁게 만들어 줄 수 있도록 브랜딩에서 부터 경쾌하고 사려 깊은 이미지를 주고자 했다”고 말했다.
■ 웹으로 쉬운 접속, 감염병 재택치료 비대면 진료 특화된 환경 제공= 한편 정부는 오미크론 변이 확산에 따라 지난 2월부터 동네 병의원에 코로나 대응 역할을 분담한다고 발표했다. 이에 동네 병원에서는 발열과 기침 등 호흡기 증상이 있는 환자의 진찰과 검사, 처방은 물론 재택치료까지 지원하게 됐다.
코로나19 검사·진료를 수행하겠다고 신청한 병·의원에 한해 24시간 코로나19 환자에 대한 건강모니터링 및 비대면 진료를 진행하고 있지만, 비대면 진료에 최적화된 진료기록 시스템이 없어 코로나19 재택진료 시스템을 제공하는 클라우드 EMR ‘닥터팔레트’가 주목을 받고 있다.
닥터팔레트의 경우 별도 설치가 필요 없이 웹으로 접속해 진료를 진행할 수 있다. 이는 야간협력 진료가 필요한 코로나19 재택치료 환자에 대한 비대면 진료 시스템이 구성되지 않은 병의원서도 기존 일반환자를 대상으로 사용하는 진료 프로그램은 유지하면서 재택치료 대상 환자는 닥터팔레트를 통해 진료할 수 있는 환경을 제공하기 때문에 높은 접근성을 가진다.
기존 야간 진료 시스템이 구축되지 않은 동네 병의원의 경우, 야간 비대면 진료 환경이 매우 불편하거나 불가능했다. 의료진이 직접 의원에 24시간 상주하며, 환자의 문의에 대응하고 비대면 진료를 진행해야 했기 때문이다.
하지만 클라우드 EMR인 닥터팔레트는 장소에 국한되지 않고 의료진의 자택에서도 비대면 진료가 가능하다. 더불어 야간협력 관리의료기관 구축시 당직 의사가 서로 다른 병의원의 등록된 환자의 진료를 손쉽게 검색해 진료를 진행 할 수 있어 감염병 재택치료를 위한 비대면 진료에 특화된 환경을 제공하고 있다.
이은솔 대표는 “동네 병의원과 의료 인프라를 구축하는 기업이 힘을 합쳐 감염병환자의 재택치료를 지원한다면, 더 많은 환자들이 의료 조력을 받을 수 있을 것”이라고 설명했다.
■ 메디패스, 코로나19 재택치료 지원 병의원 실시간 확인 서비스 출시= 동시에 메디블록이 운영하고 있는 메디패스는 서울대병원, 삼성서울병원, 세브란스병원 등 대형병원에서 디지털 의료정보를 직접 연동해, 환자가 간편하게 본인의 의료정보를 관리하고 보험청구 등의 방법으로 활용할 수 있도록 하는 모바일 헬스케어 서비스이다.
메디패스는 코로나19 환자 중 재택치료를 진행하는 일반관리군 환자가 쉽고 편리하게 재택치료를 지원하는 동네 병·의원의 정보를 실시간으로 확인할 수 있는 서비스를 출시했다.
이에 코로나19 재택치료자 일반관리군에 해당되는 환자는 메디패스를 통해 전화 상담 및 처방을 받을 수 있는 동네 병의원의 최신 정보를 손쉽게 확인할 수 있어 빠르게 재택치료를 진행할 수 있을 것으로 기대를 모은다.
‘메디패스 재택치료자 관리 동네 병·의원 검색’ 서비스는 구글플레이 스토어 또는 앱 스토어에서 ‘메디패스’를 검색하여 다운받으면 무료로 이용이 가능하다.

Centering around differentiated technology, Dr. Palette provides a genuine cloud EMR that is perfectly connected to public services at any place without the need for installation. Designed by doctors, the platform has assembled the diverse functions in accordance to work flow enabling practitioners to use the system in a convenient manner. It can also maximize treatment efficiency as it enables easy and convenient chart information input.
As the system is a web-based cloud EMR, no additional steps are needed including server construction and download, update and changes of notices and functions. It also supports both mobile apps and the web, making a flexible medical environment where practitioners can check and view medical records. The system is also compatible with MAC, Window and Linux.
Dr. Palette is designed so that it can be used with no restrictions on device or environment. As it is a web-based system, one can use it simply by opening Internet window at any time, and any place. So, there is no need for practitioners to run to the office to view patients’ medical record or call up their colleagues for help. Easy Access via Web, Providing Environment Tailored to At-home Treatment of Infectious Disease
Meanwhile, the South Korean government has announced that local health clinics and hospitals will be also responsible for responding to COVID-19 starting from February, especially amid the rampant spread of the Omicron variant. To this end, local hospitals are now providing help ranging from examination and testing of patients with respiratory symptoms including fever and cough to prescription and at-home treatment.
At a time when hospitals and clinics that have signed up to carry out COVID-19 testing and examination are offering health monitoring and remote diagnosis for COVID-19 patients around the clock, Dr. Palette, a cloud EMR system that assists COVID-19 at-home treatment is garnering attention as there is no medical record system tailored to the remote diagnosis environment.

MediPass Launched to Provide Realtime Information on Hospitals Providing COVID-19 At-home Treatment
At the same time, MediBloc has introduced MediPass, a mobile health care service that links digital medical data to large hospitals including Seoul National University Hospital, Samsung Medical Center, and Severance Hospital so that patients can easily manage their own medical records and utilize them for insurance claiming.
MediPass has launched a service where the general care group of COVID-19 patients undergoing at-home treatment can easily look up information on local hospitals and clinics that provide support for patients undergoing at-home treatment.
MediPass is expected to enable such athome patients to swiftly undergo at-home treatment by easily looking up latest information on local hospitals and clinics that provide telephone medical counseling and prescription.
‘MediPass Search for Local Hospitals, Clinics for At-home Patient” is available free of charge by downloading ‘MediPass’ from GooglePlay Store or App Store.
“The most important factor within the rampant spread of COVID-19 is providing patients with the information they need,” MediBloc CEO Lee Eunseol said. “Going forward, MediBloc will exert full efforts to provide optimized infrastructure for at-home treatment and remote diagnosis to contribute to overcoming national disasters, and will also make full-fledged efforts to establish a system to treat infectious diseases.”
