레이저 원천 기술 토대 다양한 의료장비 라인업 구축
[의학신문·일간보사=오인규 기자] 지난 1999년 설립된 원텍은 창립이래 레이저 원천 기술력을 토대로 다양한 레이저 의료기기를 개발하면서 시장을 선도하고 있는 글로벌 강소기업이다.
지난해 피코 세컨드 레이저 기기인 피코케어로 국산 장비로서는 최초 미국 FDA 승인을 받으면서 원텍의 원천기술력은 다시금 시장의 주목을 받고 있다. 원텍은 서울 코엑스에서 개최되는 KIMES 2018(국제의료기기병원설비전시회)을 통해 에스테틱 장비 가운데 주력하고 있는 프리미엄 장비를 소개한다.
■ 피코브라더스, Picosecond Nd:YAG‘PICOCARE’ & Picosecond Alexandrite‘PICOWON’
원텍은 엔디야그(Nd:YAG) 매질의 피코 세컨드 장비와 알렉산드라이트(Alexandrite)매질의 피코 세컨드 장비를 자체 기술력으로 보유한 국내 유일의 기업이다.
피코 세컨드 레이저는 펄스폭(Pulse Duration)이 나노세컨드 장비보다 1000배 가량 짧아 피부 속 깊은 진피층에서 색소입자를 파괴하는 장비이다. 글로벌 시장에서도 레이저 장비 가운데 초고도의 기술로 꼽히는 장비이다.
원텍은 피코케어와 피코원을 개발하면서 기술력에 대한 자부심을 내세웠다. 특히 지난 2016년 처음 선보인 피코케어는 지난해 아시아 업체로는 최초로 미국 FDA 승인을 받은 바 있다.
■ 브이레이저(V-Laser), l ong-pulsed 532nm K TP & 1064nm Nd:YAG
롱펄스 레이저 장비로 듀얼파장이 구현되는 브이레이저는 이용자의 편의를 최우선으로 고려해 개발된 제품이다. 핸드피스 교체없이 532nm, 1064nm과 제네시스 모드 사용이 가능하고 컨택쿨링 방식으로 가스쿨링 대비 추후 소모품 구매가 없다.
브이레이저에 탑재된 사파이어 윈도우는 시술 시 이용자의 시야 확보를 위해 고안됐다. 핸드피스의 경량감에 더해 편리한 핸들링 구현이 가능하다.
뿐만 아니라 듀얼파장을 이용하여 복합성 병변에 대한 치료가 가능하다. 병변의 특성에 따라 에너지, 펄스 듀레이션, 스팟 사이즈, 쿨링 온도 등을 조절할 수 있다.
브이레이저는 지난 2월 유럽의 CE 인증을 획득하면서 글로벌 시장에서의 활약이 기대되고 있다.
■ 산드로듀얼(Sandro Dual), 755nm Alexandrite & 1064nm Nd:YAG
사람들마다 얼굴의 생김새가 다르듯, 피부타입 역시 다양하다. 산드로듀얼은 알렉산드라이트(Alexandrite)와 엔디야그(Nd:YAG), 두 매질을 모두 탑재해 다양한 피부 타입에 따른 선택적 치료가 가능하도록 개발됐다.
색소나 제모에 주로 사용되는 롱펄스 알렉산드라이트와 혈관 관련 병변과 탄력에 주로 사용되는 롱펄스엔디야그 두개의 파장을 시간차를 두고 조사함으로써 적은 에너지를 사용해 시술 부위 주변에 조직손상 없이 빠른 치료가 가능하다.
신제품 울트라 스킨 플러스, 최대 규모 HIFU 라인업 구성
올해 첫 출시장비인 ‘울트라 스킨 플러스’가 나오면서 원텍의 HIFU(high intensity focused ultrasound) 장비 라인업이 부각되고 있다. 울트라 스킨 플러스는 가벼운 핸드피스와 빠른 카트리지 속도 등을 개선한 최신작이다. 개발 단계에 있는 장비를 포함하면 원텍의 HIFU 장비는 총 7개에 달한다.
원텍이 다양한 라인업을 구축할 수 있었던 이유는 바로 기술력. 기술개발을 위해 연구개발(R&D)에 적극적으로 투자하고 임직원의 50% 가량이 R&D 연구 인력인 부분이 이처럼 원천 기술을 보유할 수 있도록 했다. 이를 통해 자체 연구개발을 통해 판매되고 있는 모델이 50종, 지적재산권은 약 180여건에 달한다.
한편, 원텍은 지난 2010년 처음 HIFU 장비 울트라 스킨을 출시한 이래, 기능적, 디자인적 측면에서 이용자의 의견을 반영한 개선작업을 꾸준히 진행하고 있다.

Last year, PICOCARE, a pico-second laser device, received the US FDA approval for the first time as a domestic device, and WONTECH’s original technology is getting attention again. We introduce premium equipment that WONTECH is focusing on among its aesthetic equipment.
■ PICO BROTHERS, Picosecond Nd: YAG ‘PICOCARE’& Picosecond Alexandrite ‘PICOWON’
WONTECH is the only company in Korea that owns picosecond equipment of the Nd: YAG medium and picosecond equipment of the Alexandrite medium.
Picosecond laser is a device whose pulse duration is 1,000 times shorter than the nanosecond equipment, which can destroy pigment particles in the deep dermis of the skin. It is reviewed as one of the most advanced laser equipment in the global market.
WONTECH has taken pride in its technology while developing PICOCARE and PICOWON. First introduced in 2016, PICOCARE received FDA approval for the first time as an Asian company last year.
New Product Ultra Skin Plus Largest HIFU Lineup Established
With the launch of ‘Ultra Skin Plus,’ the first product launched this year, WONTECH’s lineup of HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) equipment is being noticed.
Ultra Skin Plus is the latest work with improved light handpieces and fast cartridge speeds. WONTECH’s HIFU lineup consists of seven products Including the equipment in the development stage.
The reason why WONTECH has been able to build a diverse lineup is its technological skills. For the technical development, WONTECH actively invested in R&D, and about 50% of its employees are R&D researchers, which helped the company to have such unique technological skills.
Therefore, 50 models are being sold through its own R&D, and WONTECH owns about 180 intellectual property rights.
On the other hand, since launching its first HIFU system, Ultra Skins in 2010, WONTECH has been steadily improving its operations reflecting users’ opinions in terms of functional and design aspects.
■ V-Laser, L ong-pulsed 532nm K TP & 1064nm Nd: YAG
Long-pulse laser equipment with dual-wavelengths, V-Laser, is developed focusing mostly on user’s convenience. It enables to use 532nm, 1064nm, and genesis mode without a handpiece replacement. By using a contact cooling method, it does not need to purchase consumables later when compared to gas cooling.
A sapphire window mounted on the V-Laser is designed to ensure the range of user’s vision during the procedure. In addition to the light weight of the handpiece, convenient handling can be achieved.
Besides, dual wavelengths can be used to treat complex lesions. Depending on the characteristics of the lesion, the energy, pulse duration, spot size, and cooling temperature can be adjusted.
Obtaining CE certification in Europe in February 2018, V-Laser is expected to play an active role in the global market.
■ Sandro Dual, 755nm Alexandrite & 1064nm Nd: YAG Just as people have different facial features, skin types are also different.
Equipped with both Alexandrite and Nd: YAG, Sandro duo is designed to provide selective treatments for a variety of skin types.
It is possible to treat quickly without tissue damage around the procedure site using less energy, since two wavelengths including Long pulse alexandrite, which is
mainly used for coloring or hair removal, and long pulse Nd: YAG, which is mainly used for vascular-related lesions and elasticity, are irradiated at a time difference.
