The pioneering manufacturer of the PDO thread lifting market comes back with JAMBER, spring type scaffold thread serving as rejuvenating pillar and volumization

[의학신문·일간보사=오인규 기자] NEO Dr(CEO Hyun-ho Kim), a company that was at the spotlight by launching CAVERN, a product that enables incomparable skin care inside out and enhanced volumization, unveils its upgraded "JAMBER for the first time in 4 years, at KIMES 2021.

JAMBER, a fine spring-type scaffold thread that serves as a solid pillar, adds volume to sunken area. It prevents facial sagging by replacing aging ligaments, and keeps inner and outer skin tightened and tense by forming a massive collagen network.

JAMBER is divided into three types depending on the area of application and function. JAMBER I is specialized for skin around the eye area, JAMBER F is not only suitable for thread lifting but also can be used simultaneously with filler while JAMBER TANXING, boasting a unique level of elasticity, is specialized for the nose tip.

JAMBER I enables soft injection and natural care with optimized elasticity and drastically minimized irritation specialized for the thin and weak skin around the eyes, such as tear trough and crow’s feet. Cavern thread’s one of the major side effects was bump like suture protrusion when applied on tear trough.

Jamber is especially effective when used to substitute filler and botox for fine wrinkles around or under the eyes. JAMBER F can be used simultaneously with filler injection, and even a small quantity can help maximize skin volume when used together with filler injection.

When filler is injected into the spring-type scaffold thread (Jamber), the filler can be fixated to make volume up skin at the exact location.

The thread itself also prevents filler from sagging, delays absorption to enable optimized contour and long-lasting volume, and also reduces the risks of irritation or side effects on blood vessels.

Thanks to the intensified elasticity and load of the spring, JAMBER helps maintaining contour even after injection, and can move flexibly depending on the movement of facial muscles, and thus leaving no feeling of irritation.

As there are numerous areas of the thread that come into contact with skin tissue, it is more effective in forming collagen. The thread is injected via cannula needle that has round tips to reduce irritation and pain, and it also enables fast recovery as it leaves no bleeding, bruises or swollenness.

According to Neo Dr, "the company enables incomparable inside out skin care with distinguishable design & structure, which enables tailored care as the length of the thread can easily be adjusted depending on the location that requires treatment," adding that "JAMBER, which enables maximized volume compared to other types of treatment, is especially effective for areas where a large amount of filler injection is necessary, where aging has left skin tissue sagging or when one is looking for forehead or apple zone contouring."

Meanwhile, NEO Dr., while proudly showing its innovative technology, is also garnering much attention among newly opened clinics in Korea.

Doctor Jeong Jae-yoon of Busan Mielle Dermatology and Aesthetic says, "the biggest benefit of JAMBER thread is that the thread itself is designed to have volume despite the fact that it is only a thread. It not only adds contour on the skin surface but also firmly supplements collagen for sustentacular ligaments," adding that "it helps rejuvenate aged skin by stimulating various fibrous cells and increasing blood flow."

Doctor Jeong also explains "existing products have cylinder-shaped coil-type thread that is split inside, but JAMBER accompanies no change in shape even after injection, and it also reduces pain as it does not split to stimulate or press surrounding area," adding that "while needle tips were flat in the past, they are now not sharp and round resembling the shape of a 1mm ball pen tip, enabling the thread to push into the skin without tearing the skin."

He also adds "the aforementioned features contribute to causing rarely no accidents involving blood vessels or nerves," adding that "it will be able to create a new trend by substituting fillers which are being used less in the aesthetics market due to loss of sight, tissue necrosis and other side effects but address the positive aspects of filler like volume creation and price competitiveness."
