[의학신문·일간보사=김현기 기자] Selvas Healthcare, Korea’s top player in the blood pressure gauge market is set to unveil its automatic blood pressure gauge, ACCUNIQ BP500 and aims to make entry into the global market moving beyond the current Asian market encompassing Thailand and Taiwan.
Selvas Healthcare is set to unveil its automatic blood pressure gauge ACCUNIQ BP500 at the Korea International Medical and Hospital Equipment Show 2019.
ACCUNIQ BP500, the new automatic blood pressure gauge to be newly unveiled has enhanced the level of measurement accurately by applying the variable and pressurization methods depending on the blood pressure state of the patient using the oscillometric measurement method. The ergonomic design of the device also enables the patient to have a sense of stability by sitting in the right posture.
The device, in particular, has eliminated measurement value errors by taking into consideration the movement of arms during measurement. ACCUNIQ BP500 not only boasts light and compact design, weighing only 4.8kg, but it also has outstanding performance on measurement value as it is designed with LCD that grants clear visibility.
It can not only be synthesized directly with BC380, body composition analyzer manufactured by Selvas Healthcare, but it can also with BC360 and BC720, and thus the measurement values can be directly printed on body composition analysis paper.
It can also be used for various treatment circumstances as it can be directly be connected with the medical information system within hospitals via Bluetooth.
Sevas Healthcare’s Head of Global Business Department, Kim Young-gul says that we need an alternative since the use of mercury blood pressure gauge will be banned beginning from 2020 in accordance to the Minamata Treaty, “adding that” the benefits of ACCUNIQ BP500 including its high accuracy rate and universality will be highlighted to make entry into the global medical market such as Europe and the Americas.
