휴대용 무선 초음파 진단기로 일차진료 서비스 질 향상
세계 최초 FDA 승인‘소논(SONON)’무게 390g 휴대성 높여
[의학신문·일간보사=김원준 기자] 일차의료 수준이 인구의 건강상태와 만족도, 비용 효율성에 지대한 영향을 미친다.
Health Evidence Network 연구자들의 발표에 의하면 일차진료의 수준이 높을수록 국민의 건강의 질이 좋다는 결과를 발표했다. 그러나 현재 한국의 상황은 정 반대다.
2016년 건강보험 주요 통계에 따르면 전체 요양급여 실적에서 의원이 차지하는 비중은 26%로 10년 전 39%에 비해 1/3수준으로 하락한 것으로 나타났다. 그에 반에 대형 병원의 경우 꾸준한 상승곡선을 그리고 있다. 환자들의 상급 병원으로의 쏠림 현상이 나타나고 있는 것이다.
일차진료의를 위한 초음파 ‘소논(SONON)’
그 동안 초음파는 일차진료에서 다양한 분야에 쓰이고 있었으나 체계적인 교육이 이뤄지지 않아 사용에 어려움이 있었다.

상급 종합병원에 환자가 몰리고, 1인당 진료해야 할 외래 환자가 너무 많다 보니 환자에 대한 깊이 있는 이해가 어려운 것이다. 환자는 계속해서 또 다른 병원을 찾아 더 많은 검사를 하고, 또다시 많은 비용을 지급하게 된다.
하지만 신뢰가 있고, 아플 때 마다 지속적으로 찾아가는, 환자에 대한 인사이트가 있는 의원이 주변에 있었다면 환자는 통증의 원인을 찾아 수많은 병원을 여행하지 않아도 될 것이다.

The level of primary care has a significant impact on the public health service, satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness for both the patients and practitioners.
According to the report of Health Evidence Network researchers, when the primary care level is higher, the quality of public health gets better. However, the current situation of Korea is the exact opposite.
According to the major 2016 statistics of the Health Insurance Corporation, the percentage of the payments to medical clinics was only 26% of the total healthcare benefits which went down comparing 10 years ago which was 39%.
On the other hand, the percentage of the payments to large hospitals are drawing a steady upward curve that more patients tend to visit advanced hospitals.
'SONON' Ultrasound for Primary Care
Until now, the ultrasound has been used in various primary care fields, but no systematic education has been provided, so it was difficult to use ultrasound continuously.
